TRIVIA #1

Who was the deaf football player who invented the American football huddle in 1894 at Gallaudet University and WHY?

    But I won't give the answer here in case somebody really DID know the answer without having to look it up.

    I also learned that they use a big drum so signal to the deaf players when to start the play (they can't hear a "hut hut hike"). The players can feel the vibration of the drum through the ground.

  2. I don't know who invented the huddle, but I guess it was so all the players could hear each other and read the other players' lips.
